A long time ago, our grandad, Marcello Servini came to this valley, hearing that the miners were paid gold sovereigns for their hard work. Using the money he earned in the mine, he established a cafe to serve the miners and their families and he ran this after his shift down the pit! Two generations later, we are still proud to be of service to you in Aberdare and thank you for your continuing patronage.
